Lafayette Peer Empowerment Project (LPEP) for all Rising 9th-11th Graders!

‚Äč Calling all rising 9th - 11th graders!  Centaurus High School, Angevine Middle School, and the City of Lafayette invite you to participate in the Lafayette Peer Empowerment Project (LPEP)! A near-peer empowerment and youth leadership program, LPEP will meet daily (Monday - Friday) at Centaurus High School from 12;00 - 4:00 p.m. from June 6 - July 1.  In addition to gaining essential academic, life, and leadership skills, participants will have an opportunity to develop meaningful civic engagement projects in an inclusive and fun setting. The program, which is staffed by Centaurus seniors and University of Colorado Boulder undergraduates, is FREE; daily refreshments, participant t-shirts, and admission fees and field trip expenses will be covered by the City of Lafayette. (Participants are however responsible for providing their own transportation to and from Centaurus.)
