The Mountain Bike Club competes in the Colorado Mountain Bike League which is part of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association. The club is open to Centaurus students of all riding levels.

The Lafayette Jazz Ultimate Team has a fall and spring season, and both boys and girls are welcome! Throughout both seasons, practices are weekdays after school, with weekly games and occasional tournaments. 

Ultimate is a low-contact team sport played with a flying disc. Points are scored by passing the disc to a teammate in the opposing end zone. Learn more at altitudeyouthultimate.org (Colorado) or usaultimate.org (National).

The Women in Science and Engineering works with Middle and Elementary School students to show the excitement of engineering and science. Once a month we have a guest speaker to talk about their experience as a female in science and engineering. Field trips are offered twice a year.

Our Sports Photography and Media club is student-initiated and facilitates student photography projects, with a focus on our school sports teams and events. Great sports photography is a puzzle that our club loves to solve. Accounting for elements like having multiple subjects in motion, difficult lighting, considerations for background, and being able to read the "sports moment" must all be pulled together to tell the story of motion in a still shot. Our games are the perfect place to practice this craft and share it with the community.

We meet sporadically as a group, but organize through our google classroom. Talk with Mr. Houk in the library for an invite!
