Students will be guided toward looking at their overall wellness (body, mind, and soul) and how to achieve balance within the daily tasks of life. We will emphasize how regular fitness activities are critical to maintaining wellness, and will instruct students on basic training concepts, help them develop good fitness habits, culminating with each student creating and implementing their own fitness plan. Students will improve their fitness and skill level through a variety of activities including weight training, plyometrics, core strength, cardiovascular conditioning, flexibility training and circuit training. Information will be given concerning diet, supplements, training, sports improvement, injury prevention, concussion prevention, anatomy and biomechanics.
